I am a postdoctoral researcher at the ifo Institute in Munich. I work at the ifo Center for Migration and Development Economics. I received my PhD from the Ruhr University Bochum in 2024.

My research is on local political economy, political selection, and migration. I use fine-grained data and micro-econometric methods to establish causal relationships.
